The 22-year-old will remain at the Coventry Building Society Arena through 2028 after agreeing to a four-year deal with the Sky Blues.
Dovin has two senior Sweden caps under his belt. He has competed for his nation at the under-17, under-19, and under-21 levels in the past.

Oliver’s arrival at Coventry City is well appreciated, according to manager Mark Robins of the team.

Oliver is a highly regarded goalie whose development we have been following for a while; he will give our goalkeeping squad more competition and quality.

He has good physical presence in goal, is adept at stopping shots, and is also skilled at passing the ball.

“We are excited to work with him going forward and have him join us when we return from our pre-season tour next week.”

At the age of one, the goalie, whose mother was Swedish, relocated to Sweden from London.

In August 2018, he penned his first professional deal with Hammarby.

During his stint at Hammarby, Dovin made five appearances in the UEFA Conference League and assisted the team in winning the Swedish Cup in 2020–21.

In addition to spending time on loan at IK Frej and Hammarby TFF, he made 73 appearances for Hammarby.

With Dovin joining the team, the Sky Blues may be able to let go of one of their two first-team goalkeepers, Bradley Collins or Ben Wilson.
