Force thump hapless Drua at home

Western Force avenged their previous loss by soundly defeating the Fijian Drua 48-10 during the Culture Round of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The Force quickly established dominance, racing to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter with tries from winger Chase Tiatia and flanker Carlo Tizzano.

Flyhalf Ben Donaldson was instrumental, contributing two conversions and a penalty.

By halftime, the Force maintained a 17-3 lead, with the Drua’s only points coming from a penalty by flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula.

Hopes for a Drua comeback sparked briefly in the second half when Selestino Ravutaurnada scored a try and Armstrong- Ravula nailed a challenging sideline conversion, bringing the score to 10-17.

However, the Force’s offense proved too potent, slicing through the Drua defense with ease.

The second half saw the Force extend their lead significantly with an additional five tries by Tiatia, Tizzano, Michael Weish, Lopeti Faifua, and Bayley Kuenzle, along with further points from Donaldson, shutting down any chance of a Drua comeback.
